On Wednesday 10th November at 8pm E-Club will be speaking online with fellow Tabler Gordon Cuthbertson about his experience travelling to Ethiopia to help treat patients with cataracts. We’re planning on broadcasting live to Facebook or you can join us via Zoom by clicking here.
Look what’s just landed?!? The lads at Whitley Bay finally have a pin badge ?. If you’re a Tabler and would like to get your hands on one then all you need to do is go to one of their business meetings… Next one’s Tuesday 2nd November!
It’s that time of year again and Table’s in our area are working hard to prepare their fireworks displays. Unfortunately Coquetdale and Hexham were unable to commit to putting one on this year but Newcastle and Alnwick are still going to give it a go – check out their links:
Although not in our area, it’s has become a bit of a tradition for use to travel down to our Southern neighbours and enjoy Hartlepool’s annual Beer Festival… this year we had guys from Whitley Bay, Hexham and Newcastle travel down and sample a beer or two. They also bumped into guys from Table’s a far away as Deeside, Chester and even The Netherlands (the guys in the lederhosen) as well as some of the guys from 41 Club.
The guys at Whitley Bay held their monthly business meeting at a new location on Tuesday – The Brewery and they were stoked to welcome one returning as well as two new prospects, one of whom just so happened to be the vicar of the local church, St. Paul’s – who better to help them support their local community? Top of the agenda was their Santas Sleigh preparations as well as outline plans for their 2022 Nutters’ Adventure…
We have a new website! Since changing our name from “Area 20: Northumbria” to “Northumbria Round Tables” we thought it would be good to do the same with our domain name and we took the opportunity to change the content of our website also. Have a click on the Menu button… Enjoy ?
